Our Parks
All around the City of Quincy, we have several parks with amenities for public use. From smaller neighborhood parks with play structures to a large 20 acres destination park with room for most all sports and family entertainment.

Lauzier Park is our largest open space park in town. At 20 acres of developed land, there is some sort of activity for everyone. Here are the different amenities we have at this park location.
- Outdoor Stage and large grassy viewing area (power outlets located around the edges of the grass field)
- Men's and Women's Restrooms
- 3 Basketball Courts
- 6 Pickleball Courts
- 2 Tennis Courts
- 2 Softball/T-Ball Fields
- 2 Full Size Soccer Fields
- 2 Small Sided Soccer Fields (U9 and U11)
- 2 large Playground toys - 1 with EWF fall material in the middle of the grass and 1 with rubber tiles with ADA access next to the sidewalks.
- 1 large Picnic Gazebo and 3 smaller picnic gazebos - Available for reservation with the Recreation Department or on first-come basis
- Asphalt walking path with fitness stations around the pathway.
This park is located at 1600 13th Avenue SW. Head south at the roundabout on the west end of town, near the Burger King and drive south past Monument Elementary School and the driveway to the park will be on the left side of the road just past the stage grassy area.

This park is located at the east side of town. This park will be going through some major renovations starting in the summer of 2025. We will be building our new Aquatic Center with plans to open the new facility in the summer of June 2026. There are a number of play toys, swings, a merry-go-round and a few older teeter totters, as well as some youth sized basketball courts.

There are 2 entrances to this park, 724 F Street SE (across from the John Deere dealer) and also on 6th Avenue SE and I Street SE.

This park is a shared park with one our school district Elementary Schools. There are 2 youth baseball fields in this park (one on the SE and SW corners of the park). There is a restroom in the park and plenty of grass to paly in.
This park is on the south side of Pioneer Elementary School. This park is in the 300 block of L Street SE.

This is a small neighborhood park with some great toys for the local kids to play on. The park is about 1.4 acres that include climbing toy, swings, and lots of area to run around and have fun with friends.
This park is on the corner of 7th Avenue NE and L Street NE.

This is a larger community park on our north side of town. This park is close to 2 acres in size with much of it as an open grassy area. There is plenty of room for summer evening soccer or volleyball games. There are a number of play toys for kids, both for little kids as well as older kids. There are swings with toddler seats as well in this park. There are also 3 youth size basketball courts in this park as well.
This park is on the corner of Central Avenue North and C Street NE.

This is a small park with minimal site features. This is a neighborhood park with some open grass and a play toy . The park is about .4 acres.
This park is on the corner of 3nd Avenue NE and B Street NE.

This is a small park with minimal site features. This is a neighborhood storm water pond that has a great usable grassy area for about 9 months of the year. The smaller side is about .25 acres of flat ground inside the pond and the larger grassy area is almost a full 1 acre of playable grass. Many of the area kids enjoy this as a large open area to paly and run around in.
There is a new small picnic shelter located on the east side of the park in-between the 2 bowl sections. No reservations available for this shelter, if it is open and nobody is using it, feel free to enjoy with your family.
This park is on the corner of G Street NE and Rocky Avenue NE.

This is a small 1 acre park tucked behind our local historical museum & church. There is a smaller climbing toy for children. and a small set of swings in this park. This is a quiet park with some old trees for good shade in the summer time. Stop by this park, enjoy the toys and take some time to visit the museum and other historical storyboards around the property.
This park is located behind the Quincy Valley Historical Society Museum & Church. Check out the QVHSM website here. The address for this park is 415 F Street SW.

6th Ave NE SPlash Pad Park
This is our newest property that the City is developing into a new neighborhood park. This park is slated to have some nice new amenities.
- Park Restroom
- Splash Pad
- Picnic Gazebos
- 2 new Play Structures - one will be pointed for ages 2-8 YO and the other more of the 6-16 YO age group
- Small basketball court
- Small sided soccer field
- Skate Spot, including a 10' wide drop in bowl
This park is located on the corners of E Street NE and 6th Avenue NE.
This park is slated to be open for the public by the Spring of 2026. This will be a great addition to the area of our community, as well as all the families in our city.

This is a small property that our local community groups have worked with the city and have recognition walls for members of all branches of service who have family ties to our area. Each year in September the groups will add names and hold a ceremony to celebrate all currently serving and past members of the military branches. Stop by, look over the names on the walls and pay some respect to all those who are recognized in this park.
