All City offices will be closed effective March 17, 2020 at 8:00 am until March 31, 2020

City of Quincy announces changes to operations due to COVID-19 prevention.  All City offices will be closed effective March 17, 2020 at 8:00 am until March 31, 2020.  Office staff will still be available by phone or email Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.  The Police Department will still be responding to calls as necessary.  If you have an emergency, please call 911.  Non-emergent police matters please call 787-2222.  The City wants to assure the public that our employees are on the job making sure that our essential services are functioning and responding to calls for service.  For emergency calls for service, it is essential to let dispatch know if you are experiencing flu like symptoms so our responders can be prepared.

Although our offices are closed, City of Quincy bills can be paid electronically, via a drop box or by mail.  For those who need to drop off or pick up documents or who have other business, arrangements can be made to allow for drop off or pick up.  The City of Quincy truly appreciates our community and the safe practices that we are working to employ to keep everyone healthy.

The following changes are in effect as of March 17, 2020:

•    Suspension of all recreation classes and programs.  Refunds will be made for cancelled programs;

At this time, scheduled City Council/Planning Commission meetings will continue to occur observing social distancing recommendations, to include increasing spacing between chairs at these meetings.

These measures will be in place through March 31, 2020 where they will be reevaluated at that time.
