Engineering Dept.

Ariel Belino joined the City of Quincy as the Engineer June 16, 2010.  In addition to his education, his experience with Grant County prior to employment with the City of Quincy brings a level of service which is an asset to the other departments.

The Engineering Department, consisting of City Engineer Belino, is located in the Public Services Building at 115 1st Avenue SW. City Engineer Belino oversees excavation permits and next to all City construction projects. One project in particular currently being overseen by the Engineer is the Quincy Municipal Office Complex project. This project consists of a few phases. The first phase is the construction of the new Law Enforcement Facility located at 223 1st Avenue SW. This facility will soon be home to the Quincy Police Department. Once this first phase is complete, phase two and three will begin simultaneously to remodel City Hall and the old Library and combine the two buildings into one. Upon completion, this building will become the new City Hall.
