NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Quincy Planning Commission’s September 11, 2017 Public Hearing meeting was adjourned due to less than a quorum. The adjourned meeting will take place at the Quincy Public Services Building on October 9, at 6:30 PM at 115 1st Ave SW, to take comment on the proposed 2017 annual Comprehensive Plan amendment. The Public is encouraged to attend and comment on the proposal. The annual Comprehensive Plan update consists of the following items:

  1. Amendments to Chapter 20.46 regarding off-street parking requirements
  2. Corrections to Chapter 20.38.120 regarding side setbacks
  3. Rezone request for parcel 04-0410-220 from B-D/L-I to GI for Airport Development
  4. Rezone request for the north side of parcel 31-2434-000 from R-1 to R-M

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Quincy Hearing Examiner will be holding a Public Hearing and taking comment for the approval of two rezones within the City of Quincy on August 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the City of Quincy Police Department Meeting Room. The rezones as described below are part of the City of Quincy 2017 Annual Amendment process.
Item #1 Proposed Rezone request for Parcel 040410220 for airport expansion.
Current Zoning for the parcel is Business District (B-D) and Light Industrial (L-I)
Proposed rezone will change zone to General Industrial (G-I)  (Rezone request for Parcel 040410220 from B-D/L-I to G-I for Airport Development)
Item #2 Proposed Rezone request for Parcel 312434000
Current Zoning for the parcel is R-M south of F Street NE and R-1 north of F Street NE.
Proposed rezone is to make the entire parcel R-M.  (Rezone request for the north side of Parcel 312434000 from R-1 to R-M)
PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to QMC 2.18.080 Authorities and Duties of the Hearing Examiner all Rezones not of general applicability are to go before the Hearing Examiner. Pursuant QMC 17.07.030 Notice of Public Hearing is required to allow public comment.
